IKE, IBEW and the Working Families committee

The Working Families flyers: who paid for them

The Working Families flyers for Ezidore and Puza come from the Committee for Culver City Working Families, a local committee registered in 2026. It shares a treasurer and assistant treasurer with Thomas Small’s campaign. Its funding includes $25,000 from IKE Smart City, the digital kiosk company operating in Culver City and other cities, and $10,000 from IBEW Local 11, the electrical workers’ union.

IKE’s Culver City history goes back to 2019, when Small seconded a motion sending its kiosk proposal to a council subcommittee. In 2024 the council picked IKE 3–1; Puza voted no and McMorrin abstained.

Records from 2019 to 2026 also show IBEW Local 11 money to Puza, Ezidore and Santa Monica Mayor Caroline Torosis; $40,000 from Orange Barrel Media, IKE’s sister company, to a Santa Monica PAC formed for Torosis’s 2026 race; Torosis’s own contributions to Puza, Ezidore, Fish and McMorrin; and campaign payments from Small and Fish to Olga Lexell, a Streets For All board member in 2023, whom KeyWiki lists with past DSA leadership roles.
